JCOM 2160 Reading 1

One of the most important things I think that was stressed through the readings was to remember that you are communicating with humans. It emphasized the golden rule which I think is important in any situation. The Purdue website was helpful for learning how to compose emails to others you haven’t met before like professors for example, which will come in handy. It was also good to learn that even though you think your emails are private, they are saved and the recipient may forward or save the email. Conversational cheap shots was funny, it reminded me of some of the answers I have received from my parents.
